As a Solution Architect - B2B, you will define the architecture and design of our B2B platforms, ensuring systems are highly scalable, secure, and automation-ready. You will  focus on creating robust, maintainable technical solutions that support current business needs and enable future growth.

You will collaborate closely with product owners, business stakeholders, development teams, and architects to ensure that architecture meets business requirements while supporting long-term scalability and flexibility.

This is a strategic architecture role responsible for defining the architectural vision, establishing standards, and ensuring governance, while enabling the delivery function to successfully execute that vision.

You will:  

• Design scalable and maintainable B2B platform solutions including ERP/CRM integrations, microservices-based applications, API-based integrations, and event-driven systems and workflows.
• Own the overall system architecture, ensuring solutions meet current business requirements while being flexible and extensible for future evolution.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into clear, executable technical architecture and design.
• Define, enforce, and govern architecture standards and best practices, including microservices architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), event-driven architecture, and API design principles.
• Lead end-to-end architectural excellence by guiding solution design using cloud (preferably GCP), mentoring technical leads, evaluating emerging B2B eCommerce technologies, coordinating with cross-domain architects for enterprise alignment, and documenting architecture decisions, patterns, and standards.

You have:

• Over 3 -5 years of experience as a Solution Architect in the e-commerce sector (B2B or B2C). 
• 12+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture & system design, with strong exposure to distributed systems. 
• Experience with any major e-commerce plateform (SFCC , Intershop, Shopify) with strong understanding of e-commerce domain. 
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture, including service design, orchestration, and event-driven patterns. 
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure or AWS) and capability to design solution using cloud services. 
• Strong knowledge is database schema design using SQL or NO SQL databases  
• Strong expertise in API architecture and versioning strategies to support scalable, maintainable integrations. 
• Strong understanding of API architecture for integration and scalability. 
• Experience with AI-based customer service workflows (chatbots, automated email responses, RAG knowledge retrieval). 
• Knowledge of cloud services (preferably GCP) for solution design. 
• Proven ability to translate business needs into technical architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and automation. 
• Excellent solution design, problem-solving, and documentation skills. 
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration, mentoring, and governance of architecture standards. 
• Agile mindset and strong communication skills, able to present architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
