Product Owner
As a Product Owner (PO) to join our Email Marketing domain, you are the bridge between commercial strategy and technical execution. You are accountable for the security, project delivery, development, maintenance, and SLA delivery of our technology stack, centered on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). You will work with a cross-functional squad of developers, marketeers, QAs and data analysts to ensure our marketing automation tools are not only functional but architecturally sound, scalable, and data-driven.
You will:
- Vision & Roadmap: Define a clear product vision and maintain a multi-quarter roadmap that aligns with global business goals and customer needs.
- Backlog Management: Own, prioritize, and groom the product backlog. Translate complex business requirements into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Technical Oversight: Oversee the integration of SFMC with internal and external systems
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor key SFMC metrics and deliver data-driven recommendations to improve campaign performance.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for marketers and business leaders, balancing their commercial demands with the technical health of the platform.
- Compliance & Deliverability: Ensure all automated journeys comply with global data privacy regulations (GDPR) and maintain high deliverability standards.
- Incident Leadership: Act as the primary escalation point for critical system outages or data discrepancies, ensuring prompt resolution and post-mortem analysis.
You have:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- SFMC Expertise: Proven track record of delivering complex solutions using SFMC Email Studio, Journey Builder, Content Builder, and Automation Studio.
- Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of SQL and the capabilities of AMPscript/SSJS for personalization.
- Experience overseeing API-led connectivity and data flows between SFMC and middleware like Mulesoft.
- Data Driven: Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into product improvements.
- Agile Proficiency: Deep experience with Scrum or Kanban methodologies and tools like Jira/Confluence.
